Case study 13

MSquare Market

MSquare Market is a blockchain-based digital asset marketplace built at MUST Company in Seoul as part of the MSQUARE ecosystem. Users connect a crypto wallet, browse and trade digital assets, follow their transactions and manage their accounts. Behind it, an admin panel lets staff manage listings and assets, manage users, monitor transactions and follow sales and activity on dashboards. I worked on the frontend, mostly on the admin panel.

No public site or source code. The architecture and the decisions behind it are described below.

What MSquare Market does

  • Crypto wallet connection
  • Transaction flows for buying and transferring digital assets, with status tracking
  • Marketplace pages for browsing assets
  • User account pages with owned assets and history
  • Admin panel to manage listings and assets
  • Admin user management
  • Transaction monitoring for staff
  • Sales and activity dashboards and reports

The problem

A digital asset marketplace has two audiences. Buyers need wallet connection and transactions that make on-chain steps understandable, and staff need to see and control everything that happens on the marketplace.

Approach

The user-facing app wraps wallet connection and each transaction in clear, step-by-step UI with visible status. The admin panel brings listings, users and transactions into one place, with dashboards for sales and activity, so staff can act without touching the chain directly.

Key decisions

  1. D1

    Status at every step

Transactions show where they are, from signing to confirmation, so users aren't left guessing while the chain catches up.

  2. D2

    Admin as an operations tool

Listings, users and transactions are managed from one panel, with reports alongside, instead of separate scripts or spreadsheets.

  3. D3

    Responsive throughout

Marketplace and account pages work on phones as well as desktops, where most wallet users are.
